About this course

The Intestinal Ultrasound eLearning introductory program is designed to convey the background knowledge of how to perform an IUS.

The aim of this introductory program is to introduce you to:
the concepts of ultrasound and ultrasound machines to novice ultrasonographers
the internationally accepted technique of Intestinal Ultrasound
normal and abnormal findings in the bowel wall and surrounding structures in IBD

How do I select or change my training site

Click on your name and navigate to your 'Profile'. Select user groups. Check the site/s where you will be training and uncheck any previous sites. Click save changes. When submitting scans in your logbook, your supervisor's name will now be available to select in the drop down menu.

Why cant I see my supervisors name in my logbook?

Make sure you have selected the correct Site. (refer to 'How do I select or change my training site'). If you have the correct Site and your supervisor's name is not listed, please reach out to admin@genius.health. It is important to us that you are only training with those  who are regonised as competent trainers. We will be able to direct further.

Why is my training site not listed?

It is essential that you are receiving quality training to effectively learn intestinal ultrasound. While some sites may practice IUS, they may not be recognised by GENIUS due to lacking particular training resources, or recognised training expertise. If you are unsure if your site should be listed, please reach out to admin@genius.health to check.
